A cityscape of New York City emerging from a line in a music staff. Each of the buildings or landmarks included represent something in New York City that meant something to the client, and the building with three horizontal lines represents the 3 different buildings she worked at in the city. The notes (B and F) are the first two notes of the piece of music the client sang when she auditioned for a New York City-based choir of which she was a member. Tattoo by Teddy X Tattoo. 

An outline of Oregon, featuring the design from the original Portland Airport carpet. The client's family is from Oregon, so she wanted a heart where her hometown (Salem, OR) is located. She also has vivid memories of flying into the PDX airport when visiting family growing up, and she wanted to feature the iconic PDX carpet in her tattoo to represent those memories.
